Can You Fund the Float?

One question only: whether the cash holds long enough to get paid. Nothing you type leaves this page.

Where the 1.5 comes from. It is this calculator's working threshold, not an industry standard. It is set so the deployment survives a 50% slip in your days-to-first-payment estimate, which is the input most likely to be wrong and the one you control least. If your experience says payment on this kind of work slips further, raise it. Pick it before you look at the result, not after.

Not advice, and not a recommendation to deploy. This is your own stated rule applied to figures you typed in. The decision to deploy to a catastrophe event is yours alone. Confirm your numbers, cash position, access to credit, and licensing with your own financial and legal advisors first.

What it does not cover. Licensing and registration in the affected state, the crew capacity you strip from home, the local jobs you give up to go, and what a job you cannot finish does to your name. Write down the days-to-first-payment figure you used and the date you deployed, then put the actual number beside it when money lands.

Your resultUpdates as you answer.
