Where the target comes from. It is the recovery rate this tool models against. It is not an industry benchmark and we are not going to present it as one. We went looking for a published, sourced figure on supplement recovery rates and did not find one solid enough to stand on. What this really measures is the distance between where your recovery sits today and where you have decided it should sit.

Where this one stops. These are dollars recovered after the estimate is approved. The deductible you never collect and the scope you under-write at the start belong in the cash leak calculator, not here, so you do not enter the same missed-scope dollars twice.

Track it in the job file, one line per closed job: original approved estimate, supplement filed, supplement approved, and who filed it. Ninety days of that turns the middle two inputs from guesses into measurements. Estimates only, not accounting advice.
